Call Of Duty MW3 Final Content Collections Detailed

Can you remember the first ever content drop released for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3? All those months ago, when the first maps appeared on both Microsoft’s XBOX 360 and Sony’s Playstation 3 is now coming to a close. If you think the last content is nothing compared to what we’ve had, then be wrong as it’s ending on a high.

Wait no more to feast your eyes on the last two collections: Content Collection #3 Chaos Pack and Content Collection #4 Final Assault. These are set to release first on the Xbox 360 on the 9th August 2012 and the 6th September 2012.  What’s included in both content collection drops? Wait no more as you’ll read it here wanting the content to drop from the sky onto each platform.

Content Collection Drop #3 Chaos Pack introduces a ‘Brand NEW’ Special Ops mode. What’s it called? The all new Special Ops is titled ‘Special Ops Chaos Mode. Alongside the new Spec Ops mode you’ll also grab three new ‘Face Off’ maps and four new ‘Special Ops Mission’. Sounds fabulous right, but wait there’s more.

#3 Chaos Pack may offer both solo and co-op gaming for those hardcore ‘Special Ops’ fans but it also bring those hardcore ‘Face Off’ fans. The Special Ops missions include Vertigo, Arctic Recon, Light ‘Em Up Special Delivery. ‘Face Off’ fans get their hands on Vortex, U-Turn, and Intersection. Special Ops Chaos Mode bring a new form of combat that instructs players to last through a mass amount of waves and enemies that get within their path. Whilst battling away you’ll earn power-ups that are littered around the map, this allows you to achieve the highest possible score. What maps are available for this mode? The maps available for Special Ops Chaos are: Resistance, Village, Underground and Dome.

Content Collection Drop #4 Final Assault will bring five, yes five all-new Multiplayer Maps…Isn’t that crazy? If you’re sick and tired of gaming on the same maps appearing after every couple of games then you’ll be pumped to grab these maps within the palm of your hand.

#4 Final Assault brings five new multiplayer maps – But these are aimed towards the hardcore multiplayer fans. What are these maps called? The five maps included in the Final Assault Drop are: Gulch, Boardwalk, Offshore, Decommission and Parish

You’ll find yourself in a mining town filled with mine shafts and equipment sheds making room for cover in Gulch.

Do you watch Jersey Shore? Well set your eyes on Boardwalk, as you’ll battle it out on the beach. Now, now no kicking in the sand play nice.

I hope you’re not motion sickness, as both Offshore and Decommission will test players as you battle it along deadly oceanic oilrigs and a maze of rotting ocean liners.

Take a trip to the French Quarter as you battle away in Parish. This pits players in a war-torn New Orleans and puts players right into the city’s rubble.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 has seen a massive depth and variety in both content and gamers World Wide. First off Modern Warfare 3 has plunged 29 pieces of downloadable content including the all new ‘Face Off’ and the all new ‘Special Ops Chaos Mode’. This has never been seen in any Call of Duty game and the first in the franchise’s history.

Once again both Content Collection #3 Chaos Pack and #4 Final Assault will be released first on XBOX LIVE marketplace. This will cost no more than 1,200 Microsoft Points, or $14.99. Other systems will follow shortly after. Both collections will be available to Premium Elite Members at an earlier date. I was just thinking yesterday how close BO2 is – only 3 months away – but it’s good to have new content right up to that point

Shame is that I’m more excited by the new Spec Ops missions and this Chaos mode than the new MP maps

I posted the official MW3 release notes on the August XBox drop (including the Chaos mode) on the forums as well if people want to see more
