Those attending Gamescom next week will have the opportunity to get their hands on the Black Ops 2 multiplayer, which will be available to play right from day one August 15th.
Thibaud de Saint-Quentin, executive vice president and CEO of European Publishing at Activision, said: “With more than a quarter of a million visitors expected over four days, Gamescom provides the perfect opportunity to reveal the new Call of Duty: Black Ops II multiplayer to European players and gaming fans from around the world. Gamescom 2012 will be the most exciting and engaging to date.”
Attendees will be able to play the X Box 360 version of the game, if you aren’t going to gamescom but would love to take a look at some multiplayer action the premiere will be streamed live over Xbox Live and will be hosted by Microsofts Major Nelson and AceyBongos. The reveal will feature live gameplay from the show floor, as well as exclusive interviews with the games developers. The stream will be available daily from the 15th August on Xbox Live, Xbox.com in the UK, CallOfDuty.com, Facebook.com/codblackops as well as Twitch.tv/treyarch.
Looks like the hype for Black Ops 2 is about to notch up another 10 levels.
