For anyone that really really hasnt been paying attention of late, the Walking Dead is an awesome game brought to us by Telltale games and is released in an episode by episode format. Console and steam have seen the first 2 episodes become available and now today episode one came out on IOS for £2.99.

Its available on the App Store as a Universal App for iPad 2, the new iPad, iPhone 4/4S and 4th Generation iPod Touch.

The game is based on the comic books and split into 5 episodes, it tells the story of people trying to survive the zombie apocalypse by fleeing the city of Atlanta. You played as convicted con Lee Everett, a guy that seems pretty tortured by the things he has done in his past, who is on his way to prison when the zombie apocalypse see’s him find new found freedom, which is only spoilt by the zombie hordes wanting to use him and everyone else alive as dinner.

Now this game isn’t just about shooting up a shedload of putrefying undead freaks, in fact that’s just a very small part of it. Whilst you may initially think its just another zombie game, it’s more a game about survival you are faced with decisions during the game which can mean life or death for other characters and change how people will permanently view you throughout the game, its real edge of the seat stuff at times and totally brilliant.
