As a female gamer that plays with a headset frequently on PSN, mainly on MW3, generally in a party with other females from Hope. I get to hear a lot of weird, wonderful and messed up comments, some directed at me and sometimes directed at other members of the party.
Unfortunately for some reason I have to say the vast majority of randoms that we come across on PSN are immature and unimaginative idiots, who all apparently share the same brain cell, as I seem to hear the same comments over and over and thought I would take this opportunity to share the top 5 idiotic comments I hear on Mic whilst playing MW3.
5. Whoa are you a girl playing video games, man you must be fat.
Um yes I am a female and yes I am playing a video game, this does not in turn mean that I am obese. Or by the same token does that mean that as you are playing a video game that you to are fat.
4. That’s not a girl, that’s a little boy. How old are you little boy, you should be in bed.
Yes that’s quite right, I am obviously a 12 years old, who just sounds and says that she is a woman.
3. How can you be a girl, everyone knows that girls don’t play Call of Duty
No of course we don’t, we are to busy playing Hannah Montana right..
2. Wow are you a girl, you sound really hot.
This is promptly followed by a stream of PSN messages and friends requests.

Uh huh, I still hear the comment about 10 times more than all the others. If you are going to try to make a joke at least attempt a funny one, this gets old after hearing it 3 times a week. Yet surprisingly the other lobby will fall into fits of giggles, as if its the first time they have ever heard it. So yes I will make anyone who says this to me a sandwich, one filled with arsenic, enjoy 
Apologies to all the very nice people out there and we have bumped into quite a few but for some reason, unfortunately the idiots tend to out number them. Oh yes and one more thing I would like to add to any idiots reading this, I am not a girl, I am a woman!

It’s ridiculous what some of these little boys think is funny. Unfortunately the other little boys laugh which just makes it worse.
I’m probably old enough to be some of these kid’s mum and there’s a distinct lack of respect going on! Grumble grumble. lol
I guess us measly little women shouldn’t be playing these ‘boys’ games if we can’t handle it. Time for a wake up call little boys, most of these games were made by women too! Wow. Now go play with your DSs before your mum finds out you’re playing on her console . . .
