All of us at here at Hope would like to extend our mucky mitts in congratulations & happy 1st birthday to Grubby Hands.
We have played two iPhone, iPad & iPod games from them this past year. Very different but both a brilliant example of mobile gaming, keeping you playing long after the bus journey stops.
Controversial boxing game David Haye’s Knockout stormed the market, reaching no. 1 in the Sports Chart, No.3 in the Action Chart, No. 5 in the Games Chart & a huge No. 8 in the App Store Charts. It’s a no holds barred Knockout (get it? Lol).
Then, my personal favourite, Boy Loves Girl has been received by critics with love & affection. As well as frustration & general game annoyance. Come on, we’ve all been there, getting stressed because we lost the moon! Boy loves Girl is a cute, quirky platform game, which will have you cursing at more than the rain clouds.
Grubby Hands was created/ founded by Dr. Danny Pearce, in his previous roles as Senior Programmer at Activision’s Bizarre Creations he worked on multi-platform titles The Club, Blur and James Bond 007: Blood Stone. His pedigree is set to bring some interesting and innovative games to the market.
I’m looking forward to whatever they bring us & with such diversity who knows what will be brought. Grubby Hands have promised us they have a collection of ambitious titles up their mucky sleeves set to be released later this year.
First up though we have the follow up to David Haye’s Knockout so keep your eyes and fists at the ready.
Appy Birthday Grubby Hands for the 16 May!
