Resident Evil 6 has been announced for release on the 20th November this year on PS3 and XBox with a PC release date expected sometime shortly after that.

The game integrates three story campaigns, with Chris Redfield in China,  Leon S. Kennedy  in the US, and the third qith a new character. It also appears that Ada Wong will feature in the game, with a story that unlocks after you have completed the main story.

The story is set  straight after Resident Evil 4, as at the end of RE4 Leon was on his way to the president and the trailer opens with Leon at the presidents office, only the president has caught some sort of nasty and Leon has to shoot him.

At the same time that Leon is having to take out the president Chris is arriving in China, which is under threat of a bio terrorist attack.

For the first time in the Resident Evil Series, we will see Chris and Leon come together to fight this new threat, along with our new character who as yet we dont know to much about, besides he has special blood, possibly some sort of medicine that can save the world.

Chris, Leon and our new mercenary will all have partners in the game and the game will feature Co-Op play, its unclear how this will work as yet but I am hoping for a similar set up to RE5.
